In natural cancer treatment, it is advisable to drink only distilled water and not boiled water. When water is contaminated with nitrates and arsenic, boiling water does not remove them. Once inside the body, the nitrates break down into nitrosamines that are cancer causing agents. Exposure to these chemicals increases the risk of many types of cancer. For this reason, there is a danger of boiling the same water over and over again as it increases concentration of these chemicals.

The National Cancer Institute and the World Health Organization collectively determined that up to 80 percent of cancer is a result of toxins in food, water, and the air. By removing such toxins, your chances of developing cancer decrease. Distilled water is one way of removing impurities that lead to such consequences.

Hard water seals each cell with a film, so oxygen cannot reach the imprisoned cells. Nature then develops new cells that thrive on less oxygen. These cells are called cancer cells. Distilled water often frees the imprisoned cells and allows the oxygen to reach the cells. A small pilot study found that good hydration can reduce the risk of breast cancer by 33 per cent for premenopausal women and 79 per cent for postmenopausal women.
